Many of our carers come to us through personal recommendation and many have had personal experiences of caring for a loved one. In fact, some have even decided to work with us after seeing the care we offered when their loved one needed it.
All our care workers go through an extensive selection process, including an extended DBS check as required by law. Like the people they look after, they come from different backgrounds, have wide-ranging hobbies, interests and varying life experiences. But they all share one thing in common – they’re all friendly and full of enthusiasm for those they care for.
Prior to going out to deliver care in the homes of our customers, we ensure that all of our carers are equipped with the right skills, knowledge and experience. They go through an extensive induction training and are regularly supervised and shadowed. Our staff benefit from excellent pay rates, including travel time, holiday pay and mileage allowance, training and shadowing allowance and in some cases the option of guaranteed hours contracts.
