If you find going through your daily routine has become more difficult, we may be able to help you.
Our highly trained care workers can take as much or as little responsibility as you wish, stepping in when you need us to. Our services support the elderly and the frail, physically disabled, or those with mental health illness.
Showering, bathing and continence care can sometimes be an embarrassing experience for the person being cared for– particularly where family relationships span a generation and different genders e.g. mother and son, father and daughter. We are here to take on as much or as little responsibility as you like, whether that is on an ongoing basis or whenever you need some respite.
The range of personal care services we provide include:
♦ Getting in and out of bed
♦ Dressing and undressing
♦ Washing and bathing
♦ Maintaining Personal Appearance
♦ Nail care and supporting appointments with the chiropodist
♦ Support in taking prescribed medication as well as collecting prescriptions and liaising with external healthcare professionals
♦ Continence care
Why Use Us?
Sharing the responsibility: Many family members wish to remain the primary carer of a loved one, or share the caring role between a number of family members. We entirely support and respect this approach, sharing the responsibility of care by stepping in where and when you need us.
Supporting independence and choice: Where ever possible, and where it is safe to do so, we will let our customers do things for themselves. We encourage independence and confidence in being independent.
Completely flexible: We take on as much or as little of the care as needed, for as long or as short a time as you wish.
Removing anxiety: We are happy to help with those aspects of care that can cause discomfort or embarrassment for either or both parties, for example, with bathing or continence care.
Safe and sound: Given the nature of personal care, it’s typically delivered first thing in the morning and last thing at night. As such we can help loved ones to take any prescribed medications, and ensure that they are up safely or fully supported to bed, and all doors are locked securely when we leave.
Our home care team will always respect those we support, offering a personalised service, and taking into account their personal lifestyle, culture, choices, and wishes.
